Obituary For Aaron Charles McGrew

Aaron Charles McGrew, 47, of Temple Hills, MD died suddenly at home on Friday, June 12, 2020. He is survived by “his girls”, daughters Amani J’Kyra (McGrew) Smith, Amera Arin McGrew, Azaria D’syah (McGrew) Smith, mother Maxine E. Finley (Darwin), father Charles E. McGrew (Marla), sisters Nova Shynell Mcgrew, Jeannie Michelle Kelly, Channine McGrew, Risa Hill; brother Lynell Tristin McGrew, nieces Jorden Ivy White, Penny Ray Howard and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, god-children and friends.

Aaron was employed by the Nyumburu Cultural Center for 13 years on the campus of University of Maryland. He was founder and CEO of TEFLON Security, providing security for events and personal services. Aaron was a fitness guru and maintained a healthy lifestyle which contributed to his physique. His free time was spent loving his three daughters, lifting, working at writing lyrics and being involved in bettering the community.

Home going services will be held at Greene Funeral Home, 814 Franklin Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. Viewing from 10a-12p. Face coverings are mandatory as Social Distancing policies will be enforced.
