Obituary For Mrs. Bessie Mae McCoy

On December 28, 1948 our beloved Bessie McCoy was welcomed into the world. She was born to the late Flora Whittington McNair and Eddie McNair in Dillon County, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at her residence.

She was educated in the Dillon County Public School systems in Dillon, South Carolina.

Mother Bessie knew the importance of a relationship with Jesus and she excepted him into her life. She was a member at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Bessie was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Pam McCoy; brothers: Albert Whittington, Eddie McNair and James “Danny Boy” Whittington.

Mother Bessie leaves to cherish her loving memories ~ her loving husband: Jimmy McCoy of Dillon, SC; a daughter: Vicky of Pembroke, NC; three sons: Keith (Anassia) of Charleston, SC, James (Shareen) of Richmond Hill, GA, Eddie (Decconya) of Fayetteville, NC; twenty-two grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; three sisters: Eunice Hamilton of Dillon, SC, Mary Whittington of Lumberton, NC and Florine McNair of Dillon, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lord knows not a day that goes by I don't think of you I miss you so much granny I love you and adore so much that you taught me since I was a little bopper I never understood why an I questioned you so many times but if it wasn't for you I wouldn't know what I know now . You never wanted anything but real love and we grew to love each other it hurts so bad but I'm staying strong for you my queen Im so truly blessed you were my grandmother I just wished our time didn't expire I needed only you.I love your heart you never judge me and I was a broken child needed anybody and it was you. I never be over something that's real and you always was in my corner.
