Donald L. Koonce, Sr., 73, of 1439 Lincoln St., New Bern died Saturday, April 4, 2020 at his residence.

Gravside service is 2:30 PM, Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery 2200 East Rose St., New Bern. A walk thru viewing is Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the mortuary.

He is survived by his son, Donald L. Koonce, Jr. of New Bern; three, sisters, Janet Bonner, Brenda Simmons, Cynthia Patrick all of New Bern; Latham Simmons, Jr., Florida; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.

Due to the Coronavirus all services are following the Governor's guidelines of 6 ft. apart and a limit of 50 Family members.
