Deacon Henry Fields, Sr., 87, of 1513 Cobb St., New Bern died Sunday, March 15, 2020 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Due to the Coronavirus the Family will have a graveside service at 12:00, Friday, March 20, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery. Viewing hours are 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday at Oscar's Mortuary.

He is survived by his sons, James Fields, New Bern and Pastor Henry Fields, Jr., Celebration, FL; daughters, Betty Fields, Minister Vernae Stokes, Michelle Midgette, all of New Bern, Clementine Fields, Christine Fields, both of Durham, Gloria Cynette Kelly, Stone Mountain, GA, Minister Wanda Packe Hood, New Bern; thirty-seven grandchildren; sixty-nine great-grandchildren;six great-great-grandchildren.
