Genevieve Brandon Meadows, 88, of 145 Bomar Ave., passed away on Saturday morning, April 18, 2020 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey Tucker Sr. and Etherlean Brandon Gary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Christopher Meadows. She was a native of Union, SC.

She graduated from Sims High School. Mrs. Meadows retired from Mayfair Mills after thirty years.

She was a life-long member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess.

She was preceded in death by: her son, John Christopher Meadows.

She is survived by: four children, James Melvin Meadows (Diane) of Spartanburg,SC, William Douglas Meadows of the home, Barbara Jean Mills of Spartanburg and Eric Kent Meadows of Atlanta GA; two sisters: Eloise Hemphill of Atlantic City, NJ and Linda Tucker Booker of Greenville, SC; brother, Aubrey Tucker, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; two sisters-in-laws; twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

A Celebration of the Life of Genevieve Brandon Meadows will be held Graveside on Friday, April 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 23010 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC.
