Obituary For Mary H. Emory

Mary Hortense Emory a beautiful baby girl was born in Higginsville, Missouri to the late Margaret Carter and Clinton Wood on December 24, 1956. Mary was educated in the public schools of Higginsville, graduating from Lexington High School.

Mary worked for over 20 years at Healthsouth as a Physical Occupational Technician. Mary had a heart of gold, her love & affection for her family was always evident and she desired nothing more than spending time with them as often as she could.

On Friday, March 27, 2020, Mary Hortense Emory transitioned from this life to eternity. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Carter and Clinton Wood.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her sons, Tommie Smith & Terry Smith, both of Lexington, Missouri; daughters, Margaret Emory & Margo Emory both of Fort Pierce, Florida; brothers, Earl Carter, Gussie Carter; sisters, Theresa Carter & Olivia Carter; grandchildren, Trevaghn Smith, Trevor Smith, Randie Ann Smith, Tommie Smith Jr., Lakasia Garrison, Tiara Smith, Areana Franklin, George Franklin Jr., Marlayshia Franklin; lifelong companion, Jerome Emory; and a host of other loving, nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends that will miss her dearly.

A Funeral Service for Ms. Mary Emory will be held 10a.m at Saturday, April 4, 2020. at Stone Brothers Funeral Home Chapel
