Obituary For Brenda Fontenot

OPELOUSAS - Funeral services for the immediate family only will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Brenda Fontenot, 59, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Pastor Brian K. Alfred, Pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service. Ms. Fontenot leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Cleveland Hill, Sr. of Batchelor, LA and her mother, Cornelia S. Hill of Opelousas, LA; one son, Marcus Fontenot (Paige Lastrapes) of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Shayla Green of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Patsy Johnson (Robert) and Barbara Hill, both of Opelousas, LA; four grandchildren, Treveon Fontenot, Andrew Green II, Lariyah Fontenot, and Kaleb Lastrapes; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Allen Fontenot and two brothers, Joseph Hill and Cleveland Hill, Jr. Visitation for the immediate family only will be observed from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
