ABBEVILLE - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Light House For Jesus Church, 6526 Chiasson Rd. Abbeville, LA for Miss Jonniah Da’Margie-Nell Palmer affectionately known as “Bubbles”, 19, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 16, 2020 in Abbeville, LA. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville, LA. Pastor Donnie Bolden, Pastor of Light House For Jesus Church, will be officiating the funeral service. Miss Palmer was a member of Light House For Jesus Church. She was also a member of the Black Women Leaders Organization of University of Louisiana. Miss Palmer leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Jon Palmer of Harker Heights, TX and her mother, Shantanna Gage (Cornelius) of Broussard, LA; maternal grandfather, Alvin Harrison, Sr. of Abbeville, LA; paternal grandparents, John McCormick of Raeford, NC and Carmen Palmer of Akron, OH; paternal grandmother, Jessie McCormick of Akron, OH; three brothers, Jonavon Palmer, Javion Palmer and Joheim Palmer, all of Abbeville, LA; four sisters, Nyah Palmer and Tyler Palmer, both of Lawrenceville, GA and Maddison Palmer and Morgan Palmer, both of Burlington, NC; her Godfather, Landgon Harrison of Abbeville, LA; one niece, one nephew, and a host of relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Margie Harrison and her uncles, Alvin Harrison, Jr. and Lutha Harrison. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Light House For Jesus Church.
