Funeral services for Elgin Brooks, of Atlanta, will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020; 11:00 A.M. at Woods Memorial Baptist Church, 5665 Old National Highway College Park, Georgia 30349. Reverend Toney Mosley, officiating. The remains will be placed in state at 9:30 A.M. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020; from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the mortuary. He is survived by his wife, Minnie M. Brooks; five children, Elgin Jr. Brooks, Davis Lee Brooks, Evenegna Brooks-Davis, Dennis Brooks, and Enease Brooks; two grandchildren, Latasha Brook Davis and Tiffany Ariel Simon; two great grandchildren, Ezekiel Cuttino, III and Tavin Laniel Davis; four sisters, Lemozean (Thomas) Anderson, Lula Ann Rocker, Noreen Lynette Brooks, and Maxine (Johnny) Whitlock; one sister-in-law, Bonita Brooks; a host of other relatives and friends.
