PLAISANCE - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Mohorn Baptist Church, 219 Cosay Rd., Plaisance, LA for Mrs. Mary Harrison, 95, who passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Nicholas Thomas will be officiating the funeral services. Mrs. Harrison’s memories are being cherished by: her son, Leroy Harrison, Jr. (Betty) of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Mary Alice Zacharie and Sandra Castile both of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Joseph Ellis Comeaux of Riverside, CA and James Nelson Comeaux of Opelousas, LA; eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Harrison, Sr.; her parents, Ellis and Adlene Comeaux; one son, Donald Roland Harrison; one daughter, Re-Ella Harrison; one grandson, Kenric Castille; one great grandson, Javon Harrison, Sr.; one great granddaughter, Kendesa Castille; five sisters, Annie Lee Tyler, Ella Mae Riggs, Ethel Lee Comeaux, Emma Lean Comeaux and Viola Mae Jones; and one brother, Lester Comeaux.
